Some of my Fave Weleda Discoveries
Hello all! A beauty post today on one of my ALL TIME favourite beauty brands, Weleda.
I’m not reviewing a particular launch or product that’s been sent to me, just a couple of bits I bought when I was out and about and have grown to love, and wanted to share!
So first up…
Calendula Body Lotion (For Babies)

I wanted a creamy moisturiser because I find I alternate between oil phases (luxurious and massagey feeling, more scented for longer) and creams (better moisturisers, especially for shins). I’ll always go for Weleda or Lavera because they’re around the ten pound mark, last long and are always pretty effective.
I struggle to find a Weleda body lotion but bumped into this on offer in As Nature Intended, near Brick Lane. I figured lotion for babies would be nice and soothing and, well, I liked the yellow colours on the label.
This has rapidly grown to be a firm favourite and I’ll definitely get again. It’s perfect for my body before shoots, and genuinely leaves my skin feeling really soft. I like the smell as it’s strong when you apply it and lasts for an hour or so: it’s almost quite medical smelling as opposed to floral. I realise that’s offputting ot some but actually it’s awakening to the senses and really ‘clean’ feeling, if that makes sense?
Calendula and chamomile are lovely and soothing, and the sesame oil is what I really love in this, as I find it the most moisturising of all the oils.
Thoroughly recommend – I’d take this as a fab after sun on holidays. It’s £10.75 from Weleda
Pomegranate Roll-On Deodorant

I would have imagined that pomegranate deodorant would have a bit of a sickly scent as I never go for fruity fragrances. Instead it has a barely detectable freshness to it and it’s REALLY effective as a product.
I rarely wear deodorants but this weather + sweaty dance classes = I need to, just in case. I apply this once in the morning, but it’s also great to carry around in my bag to apply as and when.
This has no aluminium salts, which a lot of people have concerns about as an ingredient.

Plant Gel Toothpaste

So! I have very sensitive teeth, I like tea and coffee, and I much prefer SLS-free products. Most commercial toothpastes ave SLS listed as their first or second ingredient! However, my Mum has suffered with bad teeth, and I have the sort of sensitive teeth that ache in a cold breeze, so I’ve stayed loyal to Sensodyne as it helps the most.
I tried out this plant gel toothpaste and found it to be great! I really liked the taste, which is refreshingly herbal (again, I realise this may sound off-putting but you have to try it to know what I mean!). My snsitivites didn’t flare up at all and my teeth stayed nice and white.
If you’re looking to veer away from standard toothpastes, then I’d definitely recommend this number.
It’s £4.95 from Weleda
Weleda Oat Conditioner

I bought this without a shampoo because I had a shampoo to be using up. I have struggled with finding the right conditioner with my short hair. Previously, when it was super long, I needed intensely hydrating conditioners as my hair tended towards dry and knotty so easily. But now it’s short, I need the right balance, as anything too strong weighs it down and makes it look flat. But I can’t go without, or it turns into a big triangle!
I’ve used Weleda hair care in the past and always rated it. This is absolutely gorgeous, with barely any scent, super nourishing but just the right balance between making my hair glossy and smooth and not making it heavy and greasy. Love it. And it’s lasted absolutely ages, because now I only need the tiniest amount! It’s £11.95 from Weleda
