By Sarah Organic Facial Oil: A Real Beauty!

I was introduced to By Sarah by Sarah, who created By Sarah. She has formulated the most gorgeous facial oil which will take you through winter and beyond.

Firstly, a bit of back story. Sarah’s super-intelligent, strong sister suffered with cancer, and found that her skin really reacted to the chemo. Sarah, who has a background in beauty PR, saw that products were just aggravating the problem so decided to take matters into her own hands and make beauty oils that would help her sis.

The oil is made from organic cold pressed oils, thoughtfully sourced and mixed by Sarah. There’s sweet almond, pumpkin seed, apricot, argan, evening primrose and argan. Even the amber bottle helps stabilise the ingredients rather than parabens!

The consistency is much thicker than many of the oils I use. This means I’ve adjusted the quantity used as well as the method of application. Usually I use loads of oil but, as I’ve used them for so long my skin now drinks them up, but with By Sarah I just use 2-3 drops for my face and neck, dab it on all over so I’m covered then massage in with upwards strokes.

I also only use this at night. I mistakenly went into the agency for polaroids and wore only this and my face had gone way beyond glowing and into full on shine territory. I find it takes a little while to sink in, which is why it’s perfect for night time: I can put it on, read a bit and let it all sink in. However if you have dry skin then this is perfect for you: add one drop to your usual day time moisturiser and see if you notice the difference. I think you will!

It was calming for Sarah’s sister’s skin, which is surely one of the ultimate tests, and the sweet almond oil and vitamin E make it very healing. There’s also argan – which is why it was a little thick for me for daytime – but it makes it super-luxurious and very moisturising to really combat this season of central heating.

I think this is a really special little find, which launches tomorrow. 10ml is £16.50 (perfect to carry in your bag to dab on lips and dry bits) and £38 for 30ml. It’s free delivery (and there’s worldwide shipping).
